Product Evaluations
This section contains downloads for evaluating our products, particularly our main product, HyperChem. The evaluations are full-featured products with no functional limitations. The evaluation time is limited to 10 days from first execution, subsequent to obtaining a license. The evaluations differ from purchased products only in that the license, rather than being a permanent license, has this 10 day time limit. An evaluation copy can be converted into one with a permanent license by contacting sales@hyper.com.
Updates
Updates to our products are also available here. Maintenance Updates are free. For example, Professional HyperChem 8.0.9 can be updated to 8.0.10 at no cost. Updates occur not as a patch but by uninstalling the previous version and installing the new version. An uninstall will generally only remove files installed by Hypercube, Inc. and all user files, including any license files, will remain as they were, provided the new install takes place at the same location as the original install.
Updates that involve changes to the "first" or "second" digit, such as 8.0 to 9.0 or 8.0 to 8.1 are not Maintenance Updates and generally will involve an update fee and a new license. Updates that involve changes to the "third digit" such as 7.5.0 to 7.5.2 are free Maintenance Updates.
Examples, Utilities, Macros, and Scripts
This section also contains various other pieces of software that may be downloaded for use with your Hypercube product.
Utilities often extend the functional capability of HyperChem. The utilities are either freeware or shareware. If you like them, please remember to register them so there will always be tools to help with your computations.
The downloads include Excel macros that help when using Microsoft products such as Excel and Visual Basic.
The Scripts that are available have been donated by HyperChem users and are available for anyone to use. They are an excellent starting point for becoming familiar with what scripts can do in HyperChem, and provide a basis from which you can begin writing more complex scripts to perform the tasks you are interested in. They augment the scripts installed in the HyperChem CDK folder.
